RNLI - Charity of the Year 2007

Thanks for supporting the RNLI as your Charity of the Year - we have several events going on around the North next year that you might be interested in as a way of supporting us. The Dracula Drop Bungee Jump on Sat 26th April in Whitby promises to be fantastic, or how about the Baitings Dam Abseil and Zipslide on Sat 21st June? or anyone interested in getting fit for the New Year might want to consider the Tamworth 10km (4th May), the Great Manchester Run (18th May) or the big one.... the Great North Run (5th Oct). For more info or for any support you need for events you are putting on yourself, please just email me lrutter@rnli.org.uk and I will help as much as possible!

Thank you for letting us know of events for next year. Sadly our fundraising year ends in April and a new charity is chosen by the YD membership then. However this shouldnt stop anyone from participating in the events you mentioned.
We have 4 more months to continue raising funds for the RNLI and I know there are some great ideas in the pipeline.

I think I can say this on behalf of all YD members we are grateful for the RNLI and the work they do.

Yes, Val is the Area Fundraising Manager for the North Yorks area - so if you have been in touch with her then she can certainly help. I am in charge of organising our bigger events so if you need any help with events then it's me you need. Sorry if that's confusing!

I've just added the subs that Lloyd Watkin, Scuttler and Ratcliffe have raised through just giving. We should break though the £3000 barrier soon.

That really is a sizable amount I think YD should be very proud of itself and many thanks to all those that organised various activites
