| Well thats it...my friend Claire and I got through the 26 mile fell walk for Mountain Rescue in 9 hours 7 minutes. It was certainly tough considering I havent really done ANY training for it. Lots of big big hills up and down. But all the same, we got through it in the end. Now its time to start training for more events both running and walking (yes...running...FINALLY!). Hoping to get in some 10k runs and hopefully a half marathon at some point. Also Ben nevis and the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge. Thanks for all those that sponsored us and wished us good luck. You can still support and donate until november sometime on the just giving website. Justgiving - The Saltergate Circuit 26 MILES! Aimz xx |
