Jump on the tube and get off either at Highbury & Islington station(victoria line) and just walk along Upper street stopping in all the bars along there and if you are still sober at the end of the night then get tube back from The Angel (Piccadily Line) top of Upper street back to Russell Square.
If you want to eat then I suggest The Mercury (if its still going) with decent food and ok prices and you can normally play spot the celeb.

I was usually found on the Sunday morning asleep in the flowerbed outside the Ramada Hotel. Managed to empty the O2 cylinder on the Sea & Sea stand one year to try and help with the hangover...

I'll be there this year - but have to take SWMBO out for a meal in the evening... so staying relatively sober - but still bloody expensive!
