Team Geordie Do Curry and Beer In South Shields, December 15 - Who's Up For It?

I've had several votes from my fellow Geordie YDers to do curry and beer for our Christmas do. Saturday December 15th it is.

If you fancy it, put your name down. I'll ask for final numbers the week before so I can book a table. I'm hoping to get the Asha on Ocean Road in South Shields, but if they can't accommodate us, there are plenty of other good curry emporiums I can try.

I shall sample the local pubs (in the name of research ) to see which will be best to meet up in for drinkies before hand. There are several new bars that have opened so I'll check them out.

What about beer from 6.30 followed by curry at 8.30, followed by more beer and possibly dancing (or wild arm flailing on my part )? So long as no-one buys me an aftershock I should still retain the use of my legs (unlike the last do in Shields I organised).

Were it not for the fact that it clashes with Heanor SAC's Christmas party extravaganza and awards night, I would have made the journey North to enjoy the Curry, watery beer, outside toilets and the locals still wearing t-shirts despite the snow
