Win a dive cylinder!

OK, this is a serious thread

I'll start at the beginning. I had a cylinder fail with a dead valve. Scuttler had a good valve sitting at home. Thanks to a YD delivery man, the two were united down south, and Scuttler kindly put the cylinder through its test which it passed with flying colours. Scuttler has also kindly agreed to offer the valve as part of this deal, so as a result we are offering a newly tested 12L tall cylinder (Faber) up for grabs in a YD raffle, to raise some more funds for the RNLI.

How is it going to work ?

Well, I have set up a Just Giving website here and for every pound that you donate to the RNLI, I will allocate you a ticket in the raffle. I'll get someone to draw the winning ticket on the 1st January 2008, and someone out there will win a cylinder in full test.

I've done this via Just Giving, instead of doing it via post, or via the YD RNLI fundraising, because it would cost people almost as much to post money/cheques to me as it would to enter the raffle, not to mention a nightmare of paperwork! This way, you can all add you 30p postage into your donation if you see fit, and everybody wins!

I'll try and get the cylinder to the winner via YD Post, but if necessary, I'll have to arrange proper delivery.

So, in summary, get donating, and entering into the raffle. Lets make loads of money for the RNLI.

Please donate loads of money to the RNLI and win a cylinder...

Bump,

£40 raised so far, cheap for a 12l cylinder in test. Free those moths and dig into the deepest recesses of your wallets and purses.
