It's official - I'm a fat b@st@rd

I now weigh in at over 90Kg, and as I'm a short @rse, my BMI has gone over 30. So if you want to see less of me (and who wouldn't) here's your chance...

I'm going to try and loose 10 Kg by longest day 2008. Please help maintain my committment by sponsoring me. All proceeds will go to the RNLI. Make me an offer per Kg lost, up to 10, and if I don't make it I shall pay the lot, but I hope that you'll still donate the pro-rata amount for what I manage to loose. I'll post an accurate weighing tomorrow.

Apart from eat less, excercise more and drink no alcohol, I need a few helpfull tips...

Starting Weight 90.0Kg
Last Weighing 89.6Kg on 02/01/08

The Sponsors

1. MJH..............£1/Kg
2. Scubbee........£1/Kg
3. gerbil............£1/Kg
4. diver rick.......£1/Kg
5. Frankie Price..£1/Kg
6. dry suit diver..£1/Kg
7. fishyheid........£1/Kg

Amoebic dysentry, or a tapeworm, both are most effective.

Yes - I tried that once on a trip to Kenya. Bea also tried it whilst we were on the overnight train from Mombasa to Nairobi . Sadly it's only a short-term measure

try porridge every morning for a start, it helps to lower your cholesterol and its low in fat and very filling.

You don't need to go that far - there is just no way I would give up beer

Atm I'm running 10k two or three times a week in the gym before work. Thats about 1000 calories a run which means I can eat and drink what I like and still lose weight

It works for me

Sadly I can't run at the moment. I tore a ligament in my right ankle 15 months ago and it still hasn't healed. I finally had an MRI scan 4 weks ago and find out exactly what is damaged next week. I've restarted on my static bicycle - half an hour of hard work gets rid of 250 calories so it's going to be tough to make such a big impact as your running does.

Cheers, Chris

I'm currently on a running ban because I have a haematoma on my shin.

Not good news as Tough Guy is in 4 weeks. Very frustrating not running as I am not fit enough but if I don't do as I am told I have no chance of getting round
