I just wanted to say a really big thank you to everyone from YD who has sponsored me for Tough Guy on the 27th January 2008

After all though doubts I've had over my dodgy leg the last couple of weeks and having come very close to pulling out I went out and ran 4 very hilly miles tonight

Even though I need to build back up to be running twice as far again it looks like I'm back on track and no refunds will have to be given

I'm running to raise funds for African Hope a small charity supported by Wraysbury Dive Centre who are trying to build a childrens orphanage and school

If I make it round I'll have raised at least £1200 - a lot of which has come from members of YD.You know who you are - thank you

Anyone done it before and got any tips? Its all new to me

A lot of people seem fairly confident they won't have to pay up - I need to make sure they do lol

Warm up, stretch , start,run,finish, all the time ignoring pain and cold and remembering to breathe. Think that's about it. Best of luck.

Not done the Tough guy , but have done a few fell runs , mountain challenges.
