| Charity Abseil at NDAC 200 ft Quarry Abseil over 250 ft deep lake are you up to it? . . . or do you know someone who might be? The National Diving & Activity Centre is promoting a Sponsored Abseil fundraising event on Sat 19th April 2008, 9am - 5pm. This event is to raise funds for the Penhow Community Events Group who are attempting to raise £50,000 to invest in the regeneration of the playing fields in Parc Seymour. The Abseil will run from the top of the quarry, down 200ft onto a floating pontoon below - an exciting abseil in a spectacular location! Full details, entry forms to take part and Information Sheets can be downloaded by visiting the NDAC website If you have any questions about this event, or want us to host a charity abseil for you. | To keep it a little more dive orientated, could we get peoples kit put on the floating pontoon and get people sponsored for an abseil in to a dive? Kit up on the pontoon etc? Just an idea, don't know how easy it would be logistically, just think it'd be something different to get sponsored for. |
