The calendar went off to the printers this morning.
Costs for a print run of 225 is around the £1050 mark and this includes envelopes at around £1.50 a go. They should be back with me in the next week so I can start sending them out as soon as I get them. The sponsorship covers £600 of that £1100, the remainder will come from people's donations.
To make the most of this, I am going to ask that people add something to cover the postage which will be £1.24 to go second class and to cover the £1.50 for the envelope. Now you don't have to, but it would mean that more money goes to the RNLI.
If we sell all 225, which I don't think should be a problem if people can get their LDS onside, then we should make (£2250+£600-£150*-£124*-£1050) £1526
I will send the email out this evening with my bank details (if you want to direct bank transfer), postal address (if you want to send a cheque) or Paypal details (if you want to do it that way, remember to add a couple of quid for the Paypal charges). You need to reply with your name, YD login, return address, bank account details if you are paying by that means (not all banks transfer the reference data, I know Smile doesn't) and the number of calendars you want to order
I won't send the email out until around 22:00 so if anyone has any comments, points, suggestions, please let me know before then.
Thanks
*assuming 100 are posted out, the remainder sold through LDS or by personal handover.
