I don't think the price of Halcyon gear is a good gauge on what everything else should cost. quite the opposite in fact.

Would it be one of the one piece velcro jobbies to replace a mask strap, or a cover for an existing mask strap?

    Thought, I'd just ask

Excellent idea. I haven't voted cos I don't use slap straps. I feed my hair through the centre of the mask strap, stops it's from slipping off and keeps it in place. Now if you invented one with a hole in the middle I'd buy one.

I agree with Howard though. Cos it's for charity I think a tenner is a good all round price to pay. Perhaps make it a tenner including postage??

Is there any prospect of doing a YD velcro strap, or do you just have in mind to do the ones that fit over a conventional latex mask strap?

Sean-UK produces the ones that replace the mask strap, with the velcro.

I'm sure he could put a linky in the thread to show you in more detail.

edit: i thought the pic on the ebay link was the velcro style. apologies, sean.

Because they don't like slap straps?
Personally, I'd rather just donate the fee to the RNLI.
