    36 Dives in 36 Hours - Help for Heroes Fundraiser

    A good friend of mine, Jo White, is doing a marathon charity dive at Vobster Quay on weekend of December 5th and 6th, him and his team are going to try and pull of 36 dives in 36 hours, each dive being at last 20 mins long to atleast 10 metres depth.

    It's all in the name of charity, to raise funds for Help the Heroes. You can find out more on his web site;

    http://www.4jdivingservices.co.uk/

    And there's a just giving site set up as well;

    Jo White is fundraising for Help for Heroes - JustGiving

    Dig deep , and if you're in the area that weekend, pop in and say hi, perhaps take them a flask of soup or something, reckon they're going to get a bit chilly (isn't there a DIRX gig on at Vobster that weekend as well?)

    Yes, DIRx gig is on that weekend.

    Good luck to Jo and his team in the dives.

    I was there giving support to the guys diving through the night and hats off to them, they did brilliantly.
    Despite exhaustion and the cold they still managed to keep high spirits, with Jo & Mark still coming out with the usual anecdotes even at 4am!
    I'm not sure of the exact amount raised, but I think it was quite a lot.
