I have a new idea for the Euro flag.

Could we have a nice flag with horizontal stripes, each stripe representing a founder member, then in one corner a blue box with some stars in - we can't have crosses or crecents because they're not pc). Each one of the stars could represent an existing member.

I suggest red, white and blue as a colour scheme as the UK and our cousins in France and the Netherlands use these colours exclusively and many other countries have at least one of them in their national flags.

As each member is a nation state, we could call ourselves the "Euronited States".

Master plan for European integration

Step 1) Bulldoze the House of Commons and build something a bit less confrontational.

Step 2) Concrete over the English Channel

Step 3) Adopt the Euro

(Okay, the last one's a bit radical I know)

It'd never get past the French - they seem to prefer a plain white one these days....

Go to the Google web site, Type in 'French Military Victories' and then click on 'I'm feeling lucky'.
