| Twats I used to live in the US - Seattle - and at the time 98 or so there was a bill that was up for congress or however it is done over there and it was simply that all gun would have, when purchased a trigger lock - bit like a plug that fitted into the trigger guard and had a key lock - this came free on the weapon at time of purchase and NEVER had to be used again if so wished. This was after a women bought a gun in a shop and loaded it in her car proir to learning her normal safety precautions NSP etc and shot herself in the face at point blank range in her car in front of her child. The public and congress rejected the bill on the grounds of rights to bare arms - says it all really - bunch of silly fu@ckers. No way should any moron with opposable thumbs have a weapon least of all a semi automatic weapon - why in Gods name would any overweight housewife need a M16 or even better an AK47 cause it has bigger rounds and a higher rate of fire and you can kill innocent bystanders 200metres down the street after an equally armed burglar breaks into your house. Makes sense to me actually. Dinger |

| I vaguely remember that when the US military started using the M16 in Anger (so to speak), the number of rounds fired per confirmed kill went up from a handful to 10s of thousands. So maybe the idea is that if people by semi's they won't be able to hit anything and therefore the US will be a safer place Coat on and shuffling towards the door

| Meanwhile here, someone breaks into the grounds of Buckingham Palace and the armed guards correctly identified him as a harmless nut and didn't shoot him. No helicopter gunship or anything! Andrew

"Climb that ladder and I'll shoot you" Straight to the point but not much of a choice. Being caught in possesion of a ladder is obviously more serious than climbing up Queenies house dressed as Gotham cities finest super hero. Cheers Simon
