when they are british they have trhe innocent until guilty right, also the right to leag al advice,

most were 'collected' in afghanistan, who is to say they were not there as humanitarian aid or is being muslim/dark skinned a crime against the US these days?? without a fair trial none of this acan be proved and we can be fed all sorts of bullshit about where and how they were detained.

if the US thinks they are terrorists and they have grounds to hold them then they have grounds to try them. the lets see.

I know my grand pops agreed with me on this.

I fully agree.

I have no truck with criminals, terrorists or any other lawbreakers (for example, I favour "armed response Gatsometers" for a first offence of speeding ) but they have not been proved anything of the sort in an open and fair court.

The guys sent back to the UK were locked up when they arrived here, the police and CPS examined the "evidence" provided by the Americans - probably something worthy of Constable Savage - then released without charge. Whilst this is not proof of innocence, it IS proof that there is no proof of guilt that would meet the requirements of the British legal system, which enshrines the principle of "innocent until proven guilty".

No smoking signs in pubs, churches, etc. Yes it's illegal, but so is bestiality and I'm yet to see a "No bestiality" sign anywhere.

We don't have such draconian signs around here although there is a 'bestiality discouraged' sign at Paignton zoo.

Honestly, it's like living in nazi Germany.
