| Speakers' Corner: Discuss A difficult one.... in the Non-Diving Related Forums forums: Ken Bigley wasn't exactly Terry Waite. He wasn't there for some great altruistic purpose; some wonderful self-sacrifice ... |

| i can honestly say standing there feeling very humbled at our local cenotaph today, paying my respects to fallen heroes of world war 1and 2 and to the great debt that we owe to them . lest we forget |

| I think he was bloody hipocritical to go to the service What sort of arse stands there and says we can't do anything .. we don't negotiate (or words to the effect) then goes to the service. Yes ken bigley was there for the money, he would have been getting pay cheques the majority of us only dream about. He knew the risks before he went there. he wasn't the first to be captured and beheaded and he won't be the last. As i have stated he knew the risks ... he accepted them, he was unfortunate. I personally don't think there should have been a specific service for Mr Bigley but hell thats my opinion. I also agree that TB is a puppet of the oil cartels and Mr Bush .... if we can't cope wiuthout the americans, why not throw our lot in, fuck (excuse the language) Europe off and become a sattelite state of america, instead of the Europrats, sorry i mean beuraucrats in brussells enough rant ... i'll get off the soap box / high horse or whatever aaarrrrrgghhhh
