No dear, I can't stand him - but in a love/hate sort of way. He makes me laugh everytime I see or hear him. A lot of the older ladies back at home are mad about him, so I grew up listening to a lot of his 'music' I have grown out of the crawly-skin feeling I used to get when ever I heard him . He features in the occasional nightmare (along with Donny Osmond :o ). I think he should be commended for uniting so much opinion against/for him!



A friend used to live beside him - apparently he is quite a nice fella (coincidently, she can be included in the older lady category as mentioned above!)

Actually, i think I deserve some of that therapy...

From my point of view, removing the need or justification for using arms is much more important than decommissioning. I'm sure even post decomissioning it wouldn't take them long to get more weapons, should they feel the need to. So the weapons are never really the issue.

Most politicians in Ni have changed their stance in the last few years, we can even hear Gerry Adams using his own voice (although the actors were always much scarier).
Ian Paisley has never changed his stance (and he's the one who most people would like to have replaced by an actor).

He still harks back to his heyday and hopes for strikes and banners. Hopefully next time around the people who voted for him this time will have tired of his brinkmanship and vote for someone (anyone) else.

If things ever do slide back down the slope, we will probably be able to trace the cause back to him and he will sit back and say 'See? I told you so'
