Question Domestic chores

Since I am enjoying the dubious delights of being a house husband I am doing household chores man style.

Naturally I have painted the exterior of the house-the windows are a little strange but we now have additional protection in the event of nuclear holocaust.

Decorated two bedrooms and planning the third.

This morning was the rubbish bin. Naturally this required donning my all weather water proof storm coat and the use of the power washer, followed by bleach, then disinfectant.

Now for the past three days I have been using Mr Muscle to clean the oven. Three attempts and still some stains in place. So it requires a different approach to clean the interior.
So my question is this, when using a Back & Decker disk sander-fine quality paper, do I set the speed on low or high?

WRONG!

Buy a sanding disk (use coarse grit paper) for your power drill and set it to Hammer!

That'll sort out Mr Stain!

Talking Decisions

I'd go for a drill with a rotary sander attachment

That way you can have it set to low for control but use the "hammer" mode for those hard to shift bits

Alternatively, wait for a boy-scout to go past (generally after a horse) and use him to lever out those hard to remove bits

Alternatively call out "clean ovens are us" (or whatever they are called) they reckon 3 hrs to clean an oven and let them do it, you tell the Mrs it was all your own work and she lets you go diving.

You need serious help Ian.

You do realise you are setting an awful precedent for the rest of us as they are all Borg and share a common brain.

Running now ......... putting coat on as I go.......

Great advice

OK the stain has been removed.

Anyone know how to restore the interior of a whirlpool oven?

and I have 45 minutes before SWMBO arrives home to see the scene of devastation, time is now 1.15pm.
