Or how about Drivers who scream up behind you whilst overtaking on the Motorway or Dual Carriageway & then proceed to flash you etc. to get out of there way - Come on I'm out here coz I'm overtaking the cars on my inside.

I drive a car for my sorrows, but have a motorbike for my pleasures.
This carries some advantages, if it is raining; I take the car for shelter.
If the roads are all jammed up the bike can overtake the cars.
So I would like to know

What are with theses quad-bikes?
Are they oblivious of the fact they look stupid or do they not realise that quads have all the disadvantages of a car with all the disadvantages of a bike.
Do they have a problem with their balance, so need four wheels?

Angry

old biddies who do 40 in a 60mph area and continuing to do 40 through the 30mph area. eyes straight ahead, brain on something else, oblivious to other road users and causing a massive snake of cars down the road behind them.

Tractors doing 20 causing a big queue of peole who are in a hurry to get to work (spraying my car with copious amounts of farm poo)

caravans

people in fast lane on motorway doing 65 -70 mobile phone to ear

why is it ...

possibly not on topic but about cars anyway ...

If I had a dog and it left a mess on the pavement, it would probably be quite small, a few cubic centimetres of poo, and I would either a) have dissaproving glances from everyone around me or b) have to 'scoop' it up and put it in a dog toilet (until the dog learned to do it's business directly in to the bin.

Why, then, is it that teenage spotty girls who ride horses are allowed to leave several feet of 'ground apples' in the middle of the road without any problems?

just a minor rant.

It's not illegal to drive in the rain with fog lights on.

The highway code says fog lights can be used when "visibility is seriously reduced" it also says they should be immeadiatley turned off when visability improves!

Surface spray during a bright day reduces visability more than anything but the worst fog and I absolultey believe fog lights should be used. It's a shame more people don't use them in low visability conditions, perhaps they don't because they believe it to be illegal!!!!

rant over.

Dan.

It's the dozy wankers who drive around in the dark with their front fogs on as well as their dips. I've only used them in anger twice in the last two years - these aresholes just treat them as extra headlights. For some reason, Fiat Puntos are the most dazzling. They find my main beams equally dazzling. Sorry - not big, not clever, but I really hate it.
As the nights draw in, it's all starting again. I really feel the manufacturers shouldn't fit the damn things, they just get abused

Because their daddy probably owns the road?

Ground Apples love it. Can't green you

Best one round by us is Horse Riders who give you the look of the devil (and mouth the word c**t at you) if you have to slam on the brakes coming round the corner because you were doing 50 (in a 60mph zone) and didn't see them round the blind bend.

However, it's OK for them to get pissed up in the pub and then thrash the tits off their car through your village in 3rd gear in their Merc SLK doing 60 in a 30 zone whilst drunk driving. And yes, I am talking about a real incident here. The countryside in North Yorkshire is rife with drink driving (oh, it won't matter. I'm only going a couple of miles etc..)

Double bloody standards I say.

The mainbeam lights on mine tend to cause retinal burn so I have to be a little careful using this approach, it does work though :-). As for cars tailgating me, my reaction depends on my mood, ranging from ignore them and let them pass me, via gently touch the brakes to emergency stop! I've only done the last one once, and it was to a coach.... I'd had a real bad day!

Danny
