Thumbs down B*st*rd caravans.

Just back from a few days on the West Coast(Oban)and to my personal dismay i cant beleive how many f**king caravans are there out there?Every day we were stuck behind not one but loads. Is it not time we made a law to ban from the roads(except between midnight to 5am).Sorry if you are a caravaner but some of you have just ruined a 4 day dive trip.(weather didnt help either)
Cheers

all caravans should be subject to the treatment on brainiac - fill with oxyacetylene and spark it up

Its all good - damn i hate caravans! I shall never own one

Matchwood all over the road....Discovery on its roof on one side of the motorway barrier and whats left of the caravan on the other side. Closed the M1 for 7 hours...worst accident I've ever seen ....no other car involved.

Makes you think...better slow and get there, than a smash!

Me and Missus Woz call them Cara-cnuts. The local speedway track (when it was open) used to have caravan racing. Very entertaining until the 1st bend then it was total gridlock. Once freed up, the caravans would be smashed into matchwood and it would end up as trailer racing. The best thing you can do with a caravan, I reckon.

I'm not a caravaner, believe it or not as the seasons at an end its probably no where near as bad around there as it was a few months ago. Depending on which way you go the road down the side of lock lomond is pretty mind numbing anyway and holds some dread for getting stuck behind these things, also coaches not much better Agreed getting behind one when youre trying to make tracks is frustrating.
Not to mention those vans and four wheel drives towing dive ribs!!!!

We decided to leave Lochaline late on Thurs (last ferry) to get to Oban for a few scoops.Eta 2200-2230 bastard caravans actual time of arrival 23.12 lucky for us the money grabbing Scots(i mean nice landlords)allowed us a couple of hours of their precious time.

Ahhhh..... the little white boxes.... We are too near the Netherlands to escape them....

Actualy the box itself is not a bad thing. Its just a trailer with a big tent-like space on top. No. Lets be clear here its the twats that tow them....... "oh yes we bought an SUV to tow the caravan - its so economical - 12 mpg - I think we have got the gear lever in the wrong place.............." arrrghhhhhhhhh.

Baaaaaaahhhhhhh.

I hate 'em too.

All caravans should be banned. Especially from the A303. God what a nightmare that is. Oooh. Dual carriageway. Just enough to overtake teh old dear I've been stuck behind, but not enough to overtake the caravan she's been too timid to overtake.

Must calm down. Violence. Is. Not. The. Answer.

And. Breathe.

apparently in the Lake district these "toilet pullers" are banned from certain roads

Safe diving,

Evil. If you want to camp then take a tent, not some lumpen white box full of tat.

I was camped with,er, a friend a couple of years ago in Glen Etive, miles from anywhere... because I wanted somewhere that was miles from anywhere. And this tosser in a mobile home turns up, sees our fire and parks his pile of kak right next to me. There is nothing but open space for as far as the eye can see and the ignorant twat got offended when I asked him (politely) if he wouldn't mind moving on.

It's not just the caravans but the pain in the arses that drive them. You really don't want them anywhere near you.
