Without being sexist! (I KNOW, BRAVE OR WHAT)!!

It's a womans trait IMO.....If there's a white line, they must stop at it, even though they can see the road is clear!

In between us having "Making machine gun noise" and "how to reverse a car" class at school, they were learning "how to make duvets", "how to wrap presents" and "how to stop at white lines without thinking of other road users"!

Just my 1p's worth!

Well to be fair, this incident was a male, about 30yrs old. A large 'bout, duel carriageway, he fu##ing stopped dead!!!, I was behind (keeping my distance), looking ahead, and seeing nothing on or near the 'bout, I had no intention of stopping. Good job it was a duel carriagway, so I could cross lanes at the last moment. The stupid t##t had the cheek to blow his horn, try to race me etc. etc. until the next lights which were on Red. He then slowed down so as not to have to stop, and then raced off on red/amber so I couldn't confront him....... 'ANKERS !!!!!!

Nah ,in Dorset the other week it was an old woman in a people carrier who did this all the way from Ringwood (Hants) to Poole.

Why do people get so cross so easily? Surely they should look at what annoys them, is it really the other person's fault, or is it just you making yourself angry.

BTW i think stopping at a roundabout is a waste of time if it's not neccessary, but is it really that bad making sure you're safe? i do an air check even though i know i just turned it on, and a hose deployment even tho i know it's tangle free, it's a good habit.

Chill out, stick on the radio and sing along... unless of course you're rushing someone to hospital

If you left a little earlier, you wouldn't be in a rush, so you'd be quite happy to stop as well. There are enough idiots on the roads these days with "anger issues" without people getting wound up by this sort of petty thing.

Maybe you should take a look at your own driving "style"

I was driving well within the speed limit, keeping plenty of space (even if I had been travelling 20mph faster). IIRC, i was taught that roundabouts are "give way" NOT "stop". I was not showing any aggression at all. just thinking "what a prat!", it was he who then started to "race" , 'cause I passed him at the "give way"

Red face

You may well have been within the speed limit, however this statement concerned me greatly

Were you really that angry about this that you were prepared to get out of your car and 'have a go'. What if the other guy had a knife/gun/baseball bat in the car, is a petty dispute on the road really worth dying for.

Dive/drive safe Zepp

No, I wouldn't have bothered doing anything, i think he just thought I may have done. (if you know what I mean). This was just a rant about poor "advance thinking" whilst driving.
