Unhappy Domestic god once more

Well I have had three great months and one awful month in my temp role. So I decided to call it a day today.

I can't say a great deal at present as I expect to be having a chat with the Official Receiver and possibly a judge in a few months time.

Lets see now:
Trading whilst insolvent. (tut tut)
Taking deposits from customers knowing that services will not be supplied or paid for. (oooh really naughty)
Prefering creditors in paying some ahead of others. (Even the profesional advisors said not to)
Poor financial reporting and controls(not since I joined!)

Nothing too serious for the directors, except possible being struck off, losing all their assets, and possibly a loss of personal freedom........

So it is back to domestic chores. I will get the electric sander out for those stubborn oven stains

Have you got a big ladder? My window frames need repainting.
And the lawn could do with a mow as well...

(just trying to help you fill your time )

(ps. on a serious note, good luck finding a new challenge)

Ian,

Oh what a pity, looks like you may have to go back to being a semi pro diver again!!! Hope your cooking skills are up to standard!!! See you down club tonight (have got weight belt & lead in car).

Regards

StevieH

Genuinely sorry to hear this mate

If memory serves, you recently had the choice of two opportunities, right?

One was with a 'young happening large it' firm, and the other was a more established and staid type outfit?

Need I guess which one you chose?

Either way, hope you get sorted soonest

Choices choices

Almost, one opportunity was for a leading UK sports organisation.
The other was an internet based travel service, that knew it had a £2m problem.

One had a major income problem looming and some serious organisational issues. The Chief Exec being one....

The one I chose looked interesting, and fun. I knew the risks......... The problem was £3.5m, but we are talking semantics here, or very poor accounting

However I won't do things that leave a bad taste in my mouth. Which I why I left today. I do have some scruples.

Oh bloody Hell does that mean as we approach Christmas we shall be regaled with more of your Domestic wonders such as how to clean the inside of the Turkey, when to boil the pudding and 101 ways of wrapping awkward presents so she wont recognise what you have made her as a gift from stuff laying around in the shed????

Sorry to hear the bad news (again) Ian, best luck finding something that rewards your talents (in the accounting, not domestic field).

Thumbs up Actually...

Given your new role as domestic god - let me know what you want your new tagline to be, as 'Senior Member' is so passé
