Brian
Brian - calm down, calm down.

a) as you may well have guess by the "wrong/lying/stirring" intro to the claim it was 99% a piss-take of Mark and f*** all to do with DIR.

b) However the serious info came from the GUE site - so not really a "guess" as such. If we can't even mention DIR unless we have been trained in the black arts it is a bloody shame

I would go and dive if I wasn't currently 78% snot, 12% bad humour due to the snot and only 10% me.

Lou

if the yanks can train anti terror dolphins am sure a devon lad can sort out a couple of nice basking sharks to swim ahead and clean it all up for ya.

Do I have to wear the pinnie again Woz?

Lou
re a) ok sorry mark, lou

re b)/manifold well it's hardly likely to blow up is it?

EDIT:

from the GUE Tech 1 kit set up (see http://www.gue.com/classroom/tech1.shtml)
Tanks/Cylinders: Students are required to use dual tanks/cylinders connected with a dual outlet isolator manifold, which allows the use of two first-stages. All dives must start with a minimum of 80 cubic feet/2250 liters of gas. Divers must also have access to one deco tank/cylinder of 50% Nitrox.

Nuffin about the manifold, think the barrel O-rings is just preferred.

course you can yabber on as much as you want about DIR... pls excuse me, am just a bit knackered having done 25 try dives down local pool with screaming 13 & 14 yr olds

The scarey bit is the only thing that isn't true at the moment is the pink mask.
Right, I'm gonna sort you out Brian when I get back to Plym (this Saturday ) and you'd better hold that 12m vis for me as well.

I'd like to make clear to everyone that the only reason I started the pink mask thing was because Brian copied my gear (that's how it happened and I'll hear nothing against it ) for the Fundies course and we couldn't tell who was who on the video. Rachael passed on the pink slap strap and Rich Walker said it was part of the course that I had to wear it

Digs.
Why not get your technique really good and use really good gear as well?

Just a thought, even though it's all bollox in the end.
