There was a letter in the paper the other day from someone in Dubai saying that Christmas Trees and Chrstmas decorations were much in evidence in the shopping malls over there. If it's not offensive in a moslem country, why should it be offensive here?

Dubai was very festive when I was there last month. Having spent many years in the middle east and made lots of friends from all religions, I find this PC we have enveloped is totally OTT.

I have celebrated numerous religious festivals from Ramadan to Diwali with no problem, each to their own but let us celebrate ours too.

As for the NHS don't even get me started on that one.
