yes he is a decent chap
I emailed him about the turtle grabbing incident. He wrote me a long reply and explained that on the dive he accompanied a marine biologist who was measuring the turtles as part of their research. But the way the footage has been cut it just looks like he lurches in there and touches one first. He completely accepted that it looks terrible and said he would be more careful in future.

I also asked him a favour for a friend and he said he would help so I concur with Juz, thoroughly nice guy and takes on board feedback from divers.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Well that certainly explains quite a lot. However I am sure Monty should be viewing the final cut before it is released.

Just because they have received positive feedback from non-divers doesn't make it right, I should think that 98% of people that went to see the Beluga whales in Sharm were non divers it didn't make that right either.

Here, here Fiona...maybe I am being over sensitive but when I watched the programme the piece with the baby snapper turtle made me cringe as it 'appeared' that the turtle wasn't 'enjoying' the contact and made off like it was frightened out of its little head...

I welcome interaction from the inhabitants of the underwater world when 'they make the decision'...take me to madivaru in the maldives anytime where the mantas decide if you are 'good' enough to interact with...priceless and no touching involved...
