Best advice is don't dismiss the symtoms, you have a very serious medical condition, don't listen to the women saying you are a wimp, If I was you, I'd phone 5 ambulances and get into which everone comes first!!

first of, if you've got a flu or a cold, then you are poorly, so behave like you are and ignore the na sayers. There's nothing clever in going into work when you won't be fully effecive, and spreading your germs amonst your co-workers. And you'll get better a lot sooner if you take time off now.
