Wind & Waves!

I feel the need to vent..

Flamin' Britihs weather! How much of the promised heatwave did we have in Agusut - none, that's how much! How much does it look like the promised INdian summer outsdie my window now? Not an iota - more like west Wales on a November day. Wey, grey and windy.

So, how many bloody dives have I had blown out in the last 10 days? 8! Yes, 8 bloody dives. The boat I almost got spaces on went out yesterday and they all had a great dive - oh, except for the guy who didn;t turn up after i had agreed that they were rigth to jump the subs bench above us as we wanted two spots, and although there were 2 drop-outs they weren't both at the same time.

The 2 dives last weekend, and the 6 dives this weekend that we had booked and paid for? All canned. Great. The campsite for this weekend is rolling over our booking for a few weeks if we want to go back down at any point - else they keep our £47. the cattery kindly waived payment. I am still down 8 dives though!

Thought about booking for the Salsette again next weekend but at the moment I feel it is jinxed! 3 attempts to get on it this year with Caroline and 3 failures. I have dived it once but she came down with a cold the night befroe and had to sit it out.

Grumpy today? Me? No....I'll just paint the dining room instead. Fab.

I know the feeling!
Supposed to be out in Lyme Bay today.
Adrian had a great club tripped planned, and the gods piss and fart in our faces...
Spent the morning going around the garden battening down the hatches!
It's blowin' a hooley!
Looks as if I'm going to have to do the ironing...
Paul
p.s. if I put on a mask and snorkel does it count as extreme ironing?

I'm glad to hear it's all Lou's fault. I was beginning to think it was me that was jinxed. I've been blown out on about half of my dives this year. My UK dive total is something pathetic like 13. I'm turning into a warm water wimp.
