| Radiohead Best Album Channel4 - 100 Greatest Albums With the risk of being shot down in flames, but this is speakers corner so what the hell. I have listened to The Bends and OK Computer a few times. But what is with OK Computer being top album. What am i missing. Oh I appreciate that its one of them Channel 4 polls, but do they get a lot of rock and pop dignitaries waxing lyrical about how good they are. I will play it again tomorrow - but I doubt I will be able to see what the fuss is about. Am I alone. Is this album worthy of the number one slot. Last edited by jackadam : 16-10-06 at 08:07 AM. |

| Well it makes a change from Sgt. Pepper's always coming out on top when we all know that Revolver is the Beatles' best album. |

| that chart is totally flawed, I mean how can any top 100 albums chart have "Screamadelica" missing from the top 3, or top 5 at a real push? Not to mention missing "Buena Vista Social Club" entirely.

| They are much better live, but I'd agree it is nowhere near the best album. Nevermind by Nirvana, Fat of the Land by the Prodigy and Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys were all completely new in mainstream music and totally changed the direction it was going at the time, one of them would get my vote.

| Not OK Computer AGAIN, for some reason it keeps winning these daft polls. I've never heard it and think it's cr@p......I missed the best 100 thingy because shmbo wanted to watch prime suspect or something Limewire to the rescue.
