So, this thread is for miserable boring old farts then?

Obviously except me, l love having everyone round to my house for chrissy....................well except my older brother

l've also got the outlaws staying for 4 days, which is ok because they think l'm wonderful, l've always said they've a great judge of character.

Families, espeicially outlaws, you can keep them. I have my very small family, 2 boys, one son's GF and brother here. All chosen carefully. All laid back, don't care if they get beans on toast and socks for Chrissy Day.

After 15 years of being with my miserable ex husband, his mother and his miserable family every Christmas, with my own Mum playing the martyr "don't worry about me, you just have a good time".... I have been LIBERATED. And for the first time in a very long time, I'm enjoying the festivities.

I realise that loads of people love their families, but they can be a nightmare. If you have a good lot of rellies, give them a drunken hug and tell them you love them.

If you have an assorted bunch of arguementative critical twits for relatives, have a nice whiskey and stay on YD!
