| Our posties are excellent - no complaints at all. Post always arrives by 8am, often 7-7.30 AM. At the weekends, if there is anything to sign for, our postman will do it himself but 1. He checked with us that it was OK first. 2. He only does it if the curtains are still shut and both our cars are in the drive 3. Our 'front' door is on the side of the house and it is recessed so anything left in the porch can't be seen from the road. The HDN used by Amazon left an expensive DVD player propped against the side wall of the house, clearly visible from the road two weeks ago. |

| I had a card thrown through the door whilst i was home.. ran after the post man suggesting perhaps next time to try the rather unusual and unorthodox method of knocking on the door, I was in the living room barely 5 ft from the door..... just a mere suggestion.. and you know, he was looking at me as if I was the one with the problem.. It clearly goes from management down, staff dont care because the company does not care... B xx

| Royal Mail has been a monopoly for so long most of the management, some of the staff and certainly the unions have forgotton that they are not a public service but a business and they have customer to keep happy. Just to illustrate the point, the bit of the local sorting office I pick up parcels from is just full of signs saying what they can't or won't do. We won't open outside of the limited hours we have, you may have to wait 48 hours for a parcel after they gave you the card, they aren't responsible for any damage etc etc etc. As their monopoly status disappears, so will their revenue unless they seriously buck their ideas up...
