Sorry to hear of your incident Nigel.... It scares me when I read comments like "it could have been worse" mainly because they are true... I was very lucky to have parents that punished me and as a result I have turned into a lay about student and not a robber however the title of this post is interesting, is it the youth of today or the parents (ie elders) that are not keeping them all in check?? I dont want to move the blame from the scum that did this, just thought it was an interesting point. . .30 years ago no-one heard of 'mis-understood' kids (not that i was around then) they got a clip

Hope you get rid of the knacker pain soon

I concur with Sixie and Southern Dave. It's back to the old saying. I blame the parents. Matt said it, if he caught his kids doing something like it he'd castrate them. Same goes for my daughter, well, without the ball removal, of course. She gets a good telling off if she forgets her please and thank you at any point!

Good on ya for standing up for yourself and refusing to give in, despite the nut-ache. Hats off to you and glad you're ok, well - almost!

It could have been worse, you might of been carrying something covered by section 1.......

I`ve had the arms held behind while one buts you in the face treatment, my excuse was if they had let go I would probably of fallen down anyway. It was well past my chucking out time.

Apparently one is better off letting the scroates get on with it, a lesson i have failed to learn on a couple of ocassions.

Some individual will now claim that an overt display of ostenious personal posessions was an invitation to them to attack you. Sounds like you got a boot in the correct answer.
