| Has anybody ever delt with Rec-n-Tec in London Colney? Thier customer service has go to be the WORST I have ever had the misfortune to experience. For instance Is it to much to ask them to give a bit of advice on buying equipment (from them) and information on a course (Also with them) I emailed them and got absolutly NOTHING! Previously (When I was doing an OPEN WATER Course) I also emailed them and got the same lack of any response at all. I even posted a message on thier website and finnaly got a response. The response was that they where having problems with thier email which I know sometimes happens but I ask you would this still be a problem 3 months later?? I think the answer is NO! I even poped down to thier shop one Saturday, stood around for about 10 minutes trying to get a reaction from thier staff but they all seemed a little to busy chatting amongst them selves to help me spen some money on a set of new equipment. Summary of service _______________ P!55 poor if you ask me Anybody else suffering from rec-n-tec itis? |

| welcome Ian, interesting opening post. |

| Great opening post .... which will no doubt turn into nice positive publicity for Rec and Tech.

Welcome Ian. Obviously they appear to get enough custom to not be too bothered about email problems. Plus If they have moved from one Broadband account to another they may be waiting to get transfered and if they are not actively chasing it they may still be off line. As others have said though, if you have other shops locally then try them. I used to use a shop in Edinburgh which was always slow in responding the emails but was the best shop (in person) I've been in. Spend your hard earned somewhere else or ask to see the manager and complain about poor customer service. Flash cash in his face and say you want serving in a timely fashion. If your booking on a course and spending money on kit tell him so, so he knows what he is potentially missing out on. Welcome aboard too. Why not let us know a bit about you in the intro section. You can find out about all the posters on here by looking ion their profile by clicking on their name and clicking on userprofile. Then select veiw all threads started by that person and looking at the last few threads (for me its page 7). Your not the only one to post an intro, so don't feel like your opening yourself up too much... like this: Hello from Scotland Dave C
