Surprised Chrisch hasn't come up with some suggestions....although as I spend quite a lot of my time glaring at him and asking "wtf" he perhaps is wondering why you are all so baffled.

Sorry.
Is that like a paradigm? I often wonder should one shift the paradigm or change it?

What has tickled me is how acceptable this language is where I work .... and I am guilty of same

As a business and marketing consultant I have to say that it is important to correctly convey the meaning of your intent without couching it in the latest trendy "corporatespeak". The purpose of so-called 'buzz' words is to imply some form of knowledge that their user possesses and you do not. It is my experience, over some 25 years in business, that the use of buzzwords is inversely proportional to the actual knowledge of the user.

People frequently fail to understand me as they are effin' thick or don't speak proper like wot I do.

The sign in a John Lewis Partnership staff toilet used to make me laught. It said - 'Partners found smoking in these toilets are liable to termination.'

Termination....backs against the wall......

Not strictly a buzz word; reviewing an environmental construction impact report yesterday...

"aerial dispersal of mineral material"

or dust to you and me.

I suggested we avoid it through a process of pressurised aqueous dispersal.
