What a good looking laydee should look like

God Helen, there were a few anorexics in my year at school when I was 15!!!! We had enough to contend with, without this horrible disease hanging like a dark shadow, which have hit a few of my friends when life's pressures were turned up!

I don't have a clue what exactly would send someone to become like this, whether it's something like having an addictive personality which would make someone more prone to develop this when life gets a little too much?

(As for picture number 7, she could have my excessive rolls and still be under a more normal weight!)

Although have read that both Milan and London Fashion weeks are starting to take steps to firstly stop seeing to be promoting ultra thin models and secondly to take more positive steps to help the health and well being of these ladies.

When I was a teenager girls were skinny if they were a size 8. You couldn't get adult clothes smaller than that, if you needed smaller you bought kids clothes.

So, again I ask, what is size zero? Does it even truly exist, based on the skinnys in the 80s were a size 8 or a 6 at a push?

Other than models does anyone "real" know a size zero that's not poorly, as in having "A.N."?

I think the US size zero is equivalent to a UK size 4?

As for A.N., it can just bring on so many physical problems for later life! And to be honest, nothing scares me more!

Yep, those skeletal ladies are truly hideous. Who wants to snuggle up with something that feels like a bicycle frame? Women are nicer when they're womanly with norks and that.

It is a disgrace that a fashion industry should promote something like this. Maybe the industry should be charged with manslaughter, as they are killing their models.

those skinny pics were photoshopped / fake, it was proved a little while ago.

... however ...

My mrs is on a permadiet, she's size 10 / sometimes 8. I'd rather she was a 12, skinny does nothing for me.
