What a good looking laydee should look like

So there I was this morning during my morning slurrying out flicking through Missus Woz's "Glamour" magazine. Now. I made a point of having a good shuftie at the photos of the laydeez in their designer rags and you know what? They all looked like they were on starvation rations. Virtually every single one had knees thicker than their thighs. Now I don't know about you but in the Real World people don't look like they have just crawled out from a lice infested hut in Belsen. They have lard on them. Like the women (who are far more attractive) in the Dove adverts. No wonder teenagers have eating disorders and low self-image.

So- mags. Stop photographing women who look like they desperately need a ckicken tikka donner mix on a nan (extra large) and use proper people instead.

As someone who is on the 'slim and athletic' side myself. I feel that I should say... I agree Woz.

Size zero women are not attractive and they are really doing themselves some serious health damage.

I have some horrendous photos of anorexic models that show how pathetic the size 00 culture is. I will load them up to photobucket when I get a chance. They are truly horrible.

I am deeply disturbed by these. I knew someone very close who had anorexia nervosa and to think that models are starving themselves in the name of fashion appals me.

And what scares me are the so-called 'pro-ana' sites! I happened to look at one out of curiousity, and my gawd! Some of these people are just so obsessed with their weight. Yes, there are some reasons why some are susceptible to eating disorders, whether it's the feeling of lack of control over their lives, etc, and the owners of these sites defend them by saying that they are there for them to give each other support, but some I have seen are just egging each other on to lose what they haven't got - it's this competition aspect that scares me.

Honestly, the media and fashion industries should be alot more responsible.

I hope those pics are photoshopped??? However, even if they are, I agree. What is size "zero"?

When I was a teenager girls were skinny if they were a size 8. You couldn't get adult clothes smaller than that, if you needed smaller you bought kids clothes.

So, again I ask, what is size zero? Does it even truly exist, based on the skinnys in the 80s were a size 8 or a 6 at a push?

Other than models does anyone "real" know a size zero that's not poorly, as in having "A.N."?
