Saudi Arms Deal I don't follow the 'pc brigade' bollocks btw - the CPS makes judgements on whether a case stands a chance of succeeding in the courts - the public interest comes in in relation to the money possibly wasted on taking a case to court that might not go anywhere.

It's just too easy to make BS statements and claim to know "facts" that you're not allowed to talk about. I've invented time travel, but it's secret - see how easy it is? |

| This was a nice post to hear. I've not had many personal dealings with the police (thank goodness) but the one main time I had to call them the two lads (does that mean I'm old?? Unfortunately the CPS decided there wasn't a case and it was dropped, and I'm sure they have their reasons. I think we're wrong (generally) to blame the police or other people in authority. There are limited resources and funding and, IMHO, the do the best they can with what they've got. It's the same with all the services. All the people who work for them, the police, the coastguard, the fire service, the hospitals, all they want is to help people and I reckon they get as frustrated as we do with the restrictions holding them back. (Again, this is ONLY my opinion. I'm not saying I'm right at all!) I'm sure there are bad eggs who are a problem, but isn't there people like that in all working environments???
