| that probably fits in with their attitude to Copyright theft too.
how can somebody have an abstract such as copyright to an idea "stolen"?
does seem a bit restrictive on the insurance side that the same mechanisms don't always exist in different countries, so it's impossible or exceedingly difficult to meet their requirements in some situations.
I dread finding myself in foreign parts and having to go and report a loss simply to get a valid number to validate my insurance claim.
A friend of mine had his hotel room burgled and money stolen when on holiday in Sharm last year. Off to the station in old sharm to report this, and they felt very intimidated, with the burly lecherous police insisting on taking his fiancee into another room on her own to take her statement......
....feeling seriously uncomfortable about this they left and were consequently out of pocket with no way of claiming on the insurance.
