| well sorry that idea that all drugs are bad is just such an outdated idea now, i find it ironic that somneone can say all drugs are bad then say sign me up for a load of booze, round here its probably cheaper to buy an e than it is to buy a pint, simple economics, kids are doing them anyway so why not make it controlled and regulated, if drulgs are regulated and available then you have taken away the shady dealers market, why buy an unknown when yo know you can get good quality and does what it says on the tin rather than than an unknown quanity from some scrote on the street

| well, i am very sorry to hear of your situation but you think of how may are taken over he course of every weekend, i am sure the statistics would be staggering, i just find it ironic that people demonise e unyet they will go out for a pint knowing how many lives are ruined through alchaloism

| I live smack (excuse the pun) bang in the centre of Liverpool, most of the beggers/shoplifters are ale cans, its hard to tell the difference between the alcoholics and the heroin addicts as the gear heads drink to ease the pain, basically they are all into downers and they steal and rob to fead the habbit. My argument is the same old crap you hear everytime this debate arises, alcohol is as bad! However i do know if you have the "addict" gene you will be addicted to something, ciggies, ale, weed, coke, speed. Alot of people try these things and then walk away, some dont they continue and become an addict. The question is how do you resolve it? Give them what they want in a controlled environment or leave them in the public domain creating havoc in our lives? The government spends more on PPI's (proton pum inhibitors) for indigestion for fat lazy people with a poor diets than anything else! If there is an issue ,know it, controll it, address it, dont ignore it!!! Rant over, wheres my losec thats just given me heart burn.... |

simple solution - legalise it but make it illegal to use it outside of your home.

| After we have legalised all hard drugs, where do we go next? After all, there will always be kiddy fiddlers so we can't stop it so lets legalise that. I am afraid that our chief constable is a danger to the public and an insult to all honest hard working policemen and the sooner he goes the better! David

| From a Copper Legalize it Personally i think Heroin, E's , cocaine ect should all be legalised and available for sale over the counter. However it should have a contraceptive and laxative content put in. Then we know the villains cannot breed and we can find them in the bog ![]()

| Darn Heroin, Cocaine and wimpy stuff like that... I need Flomax. That made such a difference to my life. I don't know the feel good factor from drugs until then. If you stop me getting it I'll kill you. Nothing personal, just if that's what it takes... |

| Balance anyone? The ONLY post on here that I think is relevant is the one that states - anything in your own home! I should be allowed to consume any substance I choose fit to consume within the confines of my own home! But reality is such that it is unlikely that my choice is to sit at home and inject Heroin! Hard drugs serve no purpose in our world whatsover and therefore should not be legalised regardless but we need to support people who have drugs problems also. We now live in a society that a) Lambasts smokers but does not help them quit b) Perpetuates bringe drinking c) Financailly supports those who are not willing to try to work themselves (but who want 8 kids and a free house!) d) Abuses those who come to our country for a better life and to work hard e) Is totally egocentric in every way It is our society that needs to change, not merely the laws! |
