I agree totally, I have sold things on eBay before (preprinted autographs, copies or originals I own, and yes people knew they weren't buying an original) however, I found one guy I had sold a few to selling them on, copying the copies, cheek, plus he was undercutting me! I had a 'full and frank' exchange of views and he stopped, probably becuse as I'd sold them to him I knew where he lived!

My mistake, I missed both the bits where you mention you sold it on eBay I thought you said they must have found the picture on here or on the BSAC forum, maybe that was someone else.

I advertised it here and on BSAC first but I sold it on ebay and used the same pictures. I acutally don't mind if they use the photos, it was just that they did insiunate, by making reference to the clip, that they were the same jacket. Their words were "exact as picture except I have replaced the blue clip".

I recently bought a non-diving item, a passport cover, that used a 'stock' photo. The item was advertised as 'brand new with tags. When I got it, it had obviously been used and didn't come with all the 'new' packaging that it should have. Perhaps I'm just over sensitive now to being misled and to buying items that don't show a 'real' picture.
