| Gutted but pleased that at least my worst fear didn't come true not being poor sportmans whinging cry baby Alonso grabbing the championship. McLaren messed up in China big time and wonder if there was something sinister with Hamiltons problem today, imagine the reaction if it had happened to Alonso! To be fair well done to Raikonenn, he kept quiet, head down and got on with the job whilst the soap operas were going around him. It was a good F1 year in racing terms but the spy afair was despicable, not to McLaren but Ferrari in the way they behaved but mostly to FIA. Hope that episode has ended.

| Worst weekend.... No disrespect to the guy who has apparently had a pants weekend but the rugby team did better than anticipated, Hamilton did bloody well in his first F1 season (compare him to the likes of Button or Coulthard?) and I won a few quid on the lottery so the world looks pretty OK to me.... And I agree that Hamilton tossed things big time in China. As to the McClaren 'spy' nonsense, made good copy and kept the journos amused and the 'massive' fine just means they might have to pay the drivers a bit less next season, poor dears might have to cut back on the Sevruga for the goldfish (think about it) |

| If there is any justice in Formula 1, Ron Dennis will hold Alonso to the full term of his contract. Just park his arse in a shed the far side of the factory and tell him to count paper clips for the next two years! Hamilton has been brilliant, but ultimately the title was his to throw away and in the last half dozen races, He has done. Try harder next year.

| Count paperclips.... On the contrary, make Alonso carry on driving the car that he has graced this season....while Hammi drives the new model for the 2008 championship. In the meantime, let's not forget that Hamilton missed out by just a point and that was after some major eff ups in the latter part of the season. Given a tad more experience (and hopefully the governor slapping some sense into that tart Alonso) next season may well be a different matter. |

| It would had been nice to see Hamilton win today or even win the title but this may make him evern HUNGRIA for next year. Well done KIMI on your first F1 title you kept your mouth closed and let your diving do the talking. As for Alonso all he is good for is working as the team tea boy or the general dogs body for what he has done this year, he just did not like that a rookie driver came in to the team and WHIPPED his back side on the track Bring on 2008. I know it is a bit early but WHO IS GOING TO WIN SPORTS PERSNALITY OF THE YEAR

| If Alonso was to keep driving, I would suggest buying this years Honda`s for him. They should be going quite cheap. Hamilton should of buried the Championship three races back. he and some odd decisions let the rest back into the game. I really like the idea of Kovalinen & Lewis for McLarren next year, Though I suspect the driver line up will be dictated more by Santander!
