| Hamilton for champ Since the race is under way as I write this is a genuine prediction..... Hamilton to win the championship, probably by coming 2nd to Alonso. I hope Hamilton does manage it, he's driven like a god pretty much all season and it appears that off the track he manages to be a decent human being. There are a few older sporting 'icons' that could learn lessons in deportment from Hamilton. Jackie Stewart is impressed by him and if a 3-time champion rates the rookie in his first season that has to say a lot (and Stewart particularly mentioned the way Hamilton behaves off the track) Generally I don't get too enthusiastic about F1 and this year has included the usual artificial dramas to generate interest but Hamilton is a genuine star and deserves to take the championship. As to next year....new season, everything to play for. |

| Yet another case of "Wahey... isn't British sport great... Oh Wait... we didn't win anything"

| Gosh... Well fancy that, my prediction was incorrect....and against all the odds a rookie has still to win the F1 championship. (Not as if I had a bet on) Still, my lottery ticket came up with 4 numbers so I have £62 to numb my disappointment....and that nice Mr Alonso didn't crown his season with glory did he? |
| ||||
| I suppose that's one consolation, after everything Alonso has done this year he didn't deserve to win the championship.

| Worst weekend EVER Well not exactly but: Dive aborted Satrurday due to absolut zero viz. England get beat at rugby. England get beat at F1. Sunderland get beat by t'ammers. Trouble clearing my payment for my Pursuit. Have upset girlfriend for no apparent reason (probably rattling on about above), so early night is off. Off to find solace in the bottom of a bottle of brown D'oh.....
