I DO understand the difference between disinterest and uninterest and I recognise a grade A plank when I see one.

As in O-V-E-R, done, finished, concluded, superfluous to requirements, past sell-by, through, redundant, irrelevant, and any other words that relate to the concept of conclusion.

Incidentally, the ignore is now on so the spleen is wasted.

No, it's just that there seems to be a general trend of our illustrious mayor being slagged off by those who aren't directly affected by his supreme deeds. I merely had the temerity to wonder if you might be one of those. It would have helped silly little me to understand your stance.
