Nemokeith, you've not got to grips with this internet thing, have you. You send me a blob and nobody else usually gets to see it. Surely "you" would have been more appropriate than "Mark" in that instance.

As for me feeling persecuted, where have I even hinted at it? I simply don't actually have a life. This is as good as it gets for me.

Incidentally, RS have just delivered the November edition of their thrilling "Test and Measurement" leaflet. As it went into the recycling I paused as something caught my eye. RS stock number 292-329 is "A nemo meter". I thought I'd misread it but it says it measures wind and temperature.

Cool.

You have the OCD, check the volume of your post dedicated to polishing my reputation. I do understand the internet....that's why I tend to post tongue in cheek...I can't see why some people take it all so seriously.

Posts on diving, requests for diving info, kit etc are important. Advice against diving on 100% helium, the right sort of pee-valve, these things matter.

Posts on hospitals and banks, while interesting are hardly life and death.

Sorry to hear about your quality of life but things can only get better from that starting point....

I think that people take it seriously because, yet again, you take that approach of talking down to people and acting like you know it all whilst exhibiting pomposity, prolixity, verbosity and whichever other words you choose to use. Same ol' situation as the MSDKeith user name really. I think that's why people get pissed off with it all.

Keith. Seriously......you have got to listen to what people are saying.

It's a diving forum. People come here to relax and chat about diving after a hard day's work. Maybe they will step as far as a little debate about something like the latest government snafu.

People don't want lots and lots of threads about weighty issues filled with thesaurus variations on big words. I do believe this is what got you into hot oil on this site last time. We all have passions, and yours is clearly the weightier side of politics, but on here having serious debate rammed down your gob is like the street preachers trying to convert on a busy Saturday when all you want to do is get your shopping.

Go diving. Get in the water with your diving gear and go f*cking diving. Come and tell us about it. Get n trips and learn from divers who know what they are doing. Go to Stoney and enjoy yourself, but please keep the hardcore insight on whatever vexes you under wraps.
