Rec-N-Tec(Will they get Better or Worse)??

Looks like the fellas at Rec-n-Tec are adverstising for a new Full time instructor. I hope that young bloke(Alan ???/Adam ???) Isn't leaving that would be a shame. On the other hand maybe Alex is leaving

Na not really

If its an additional instructor then perhaps you won't get disgruntled people like me any more and they will get better.

If there short staffed then they can only get worse!

Anybody fancy working at Rec-N-Tec??

I have mellowed after a few months
Not exactly impressed or planning any midnight bombing raids either. Just thought I would start a new thread that looked as though it was interlectual and interesting but only had a bit of local gosip in it really!

Also a little interested in what the local Dive instructors think or if they want the job....................you never know!

From the horses mouth, this wasnt the other shop mentioned in the other post.

Hi Matt,
The issue of M26 has been discussed in length with my cylinder engineers
and they have stated to me that the requirement is a recommendation from the
HSE but they will not be enforcing it .
So what that means to us is that all cylinders will be filled as per normal
weather they are normal or M26 threads,
If you choose to go down the M26 threads on your cylinders then you will
need M26 threads on your regulators as they won't work on A clamp,

Nope, just a continuation of the title albeit a slightly different tack

HAd two replies from my e-mails in quick succession, so it looks to me like they are getting better, maybe with Deep DIve in Luton going out of business they have decided they will pick up more work and need to up their game. They seem to have if the mails (and the replies) are anything to go by.

Your reply will most likely have popped the OP's bubble or blunted that axe he obviously has to grind with Rec & Tec for whatever reason. Now maybe he will be able to move on and drop whatever grievance he has with them.

Actually I was thinking that they are probably getting bigger as well! Perhaps a new location for them? Its a small shop so you have to wonder where they are going to squeeze another person in, or perhaps Alex's new kiddy commitments will allow him to take a bit of time away from the business with the new one?

As I said in one of my fisrt posts my previosu rant is behind me, but if you want to start it up again ..................................... Na! no millage there!
