but my son is only 11 now (he was born in 1996). i remember him getting tracey island when he was either 2 or 3, which would be 1998 or 1999.
Maybe that is why he got one... I can't see his dad queueing at toys r us at 4 am to get one!

Is there a blue peter instruction on how to build optima prime?

Lots of stock of DS here.....don't suppose that helps unless you want one couriering to you!

Thanks Neil, I will have a think about that. However, as they are likely to break one, I might end up having to take it back and that might be an issue if I got it from Oman!

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Maybe I ought to sell the one I have, say there was a shortage and couldn't get one, buy it in January when there will be a glut and I will have made £70+ profit.

A quick google shows that screens cost £11 and repairs can be had for £30 - £40. So even if the warranty does not cover you the saving on a £200odd Amazon DS might be worth the risk. I'll check the prices while I am out shopping tomorrow.

Thanks, can you also have a look at postage costs

I have spoken to the kids and they are happy to wait until after Christmas (not sure how long after though!!) but I will not pay more than £125 for them. I am not going to succumb to the pressures
