It must be crap when people judge you without really knowing you. I remember when you compiled your Boring Christmas List and I was number 20, that very nearly brought a tear to my eye when I first read the thread (or was it the fact that I poked myself in the eye taking my specs off)!

I've only met you a couple of times Dude baby and you seemed OK to me, so "wise up you old t*sser" and sod the ageist and fattist remarks. You're only on this planet once, so do what you want.

I actually find sarcastic ridicule works quite well.

Something along the lines of;

"Wow 'pommy c__t' eh? You must be the smartest bloke I ever met because after 20 years here, and even including 10 in the Army Reserve, that's the first time anyone has ever said that to me. Did you go to University? You must have done, because you are so f----ing clever."
