There's nothing for that number on the web, apart from something to do with murder in Australia!

Didn't they tell you when you were given it ? Or was it just stuck on your car? Just stuck on the car normally means some sort of parking infringement.

They did tell me what it was for........ and I expected the code to read SP30.

I was not paying to much attention to the actual code on the fixed penalty notice at the time as I was in a long discussion regarding how, as I riding my bike in the outside lane being flashed by a car to move over which I did just as I went past the junction they were hiding in. And as I was being overtaken by a yellow hatchback, why was it that they seemed to so sure that I was speeding and was not interested in the car? Also the Lazer devise they were using showed that the reading was taken 125meters away.
At that distance they were using the lazer at a angle of 30degrees to my direction of travel.

They were hiding on a slip road to a duel carriageway and I would have been obscured by the bank for the first 50 meters

So they had 70 meters to see me, react, aim and use the lazer
at 70 miles an hour you are doing 31.292 8 meter/second so in round numbers they had 2 seconds to do all that.

Also at a 30 degree angle they would have had to be tracking my bike ie moving the lazer to keep up with me - their own guidelines on use for these devices state that they must not be moved more than 1mm during use, which seems improbable in these circumstances.

Anyway the whole conversation degenerated into the fact that I their opinion I was speeding and the lazar did not matter it was just additional evidence.

So before I roll over and accept this as get on with life it would have been good to know what they actually have put on the ticket so I know what I am owning up to! if its a £60 fine and 3 points I can live with it I suppose although my inclination at the moment is to find a good solicitor and dispute the whole thing.

Ps the lazer was hand held with no link to camera or video
