You have no idea how good it feels to be getting rid of those bank tossers who have been making our life difficult. So bye bye HSBC (very soon). I know it was good for you when we were doing well and paying loads in bank payment processing charges but now you don't want us I am happy, at last, to say F*CK *FF!

We've moved to the RBS and are v/pleased with the package on offer. It's nice to speak to someone who wants our business and has some idea of what a small business needs to operate.

I thought I'd type this out as I've decided to be cool and not have a leaving rant at HSBC. but I needed to clear the system of vitriol.

Obviously I am a bit biased in favour of the RBS but if you have a business and are anything less than pleased with your bank then it may be worth having a chat with the RBS as, if our local bloke is anything to go by, they seem very clued up?

I do have to say, my feelings or ire towards the HSBC are directed at a couple of manager type people and definitely not at the people in my branch or in the various departments I deal with. Strange how just a few people can sour your opinion of a whole organization?

I used to get really good service from Barclays complete with a manager who knew my name and was not adverse to asking me whether I would like to shuffle funds between accounts BEFORE they bounced a payment. The charges were not the cheapest but they were earning them

Sadly they went the way of the others. I was assigned a personal account manager that I had never met because he was 300 miles away and they changed him every couple months, finding clever and creative ways to bounce payments so the could charge me, removing all powers of discretion from the local branch staff.

I switched to Aliance and Leicester who are not particularly great, but they are very cheap

Hope it works out with RBS. They are all robbing w...bankers as far as I can tell.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean.

The original manager we had at HSBC was someone we could work with but he got pushed upwards and ......................

What really pisses me off is that we have do have a LARGE facility but it is fully covered 3 times over and we are paying for the facility with interest etc but they are still bloody whingeing.

I'm starting to get cross again so I shall say n'more.
