It's not Si's post that l was referring to it's Howard Juniors post where he states

Fiona, this was posted in the Tek-talk forum not the DIR forum.

I think you are wrong Howard, although I have not done any statistical analysis of all posts.

At least they tend towards diving and, while this is a community, many posts elsewhere are nothing about diving at all. Ho hum.

Personally I like the mixture.

There is a special forum for rebreathers too

I'm a bit sick of it as well - it is a bit disproportionate to how many of us there are. I guess best ways you could say that we're just passionate about our diving I'm not going to stop contributing to YD to redress the balance tho
For the record - I just consider myself to be a diver who's been trained by GUE.
Every one on here considers and judges my posts as if I'm some sort of spokeman for George and Jarrod themselves - that's their fault not mine.
If someone trained by a good tech instructor like Mark mentions their training or an opinion formulated as a result of that training - it's just training. When it's GUE / DIR a different standard seems to apply - it's religious fervour or more DIR bullshit - that's not fair.
I'm happy to go diving with anyone who's safe and sensible and that list extends way beyond GUE trained divers and includes plenty of YDers.
Like anyone cares

Personally I think this "post mortem" is out of order

"and that's all I'm going to say about that"

"I Learned About Diving From That...: This forum is for people to explain their diving incidents, however minor or serious, thereby allowing others to learn from their mistakes. To facilitate discussion, there will be no stone throwing or out-and-out negative criticism. Anonomous posts can be made through the Moderator if required."

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

White poo: Where did it go?
Red at the back and white at the front and none of those daft flashing ones!
Courgettes, cucumber yuck just green sex aids.
DIR love in? Pinhole their condoms that'll sort them!

Miss anything?

To be fair mate some may remember your 'fundamentalist' (tm-MB) early days

That's because generally speaking anyone undertaking that training doesn't often imply that their opinion/training/configuration etc is better than anothers
