Bl**dy kids and schools RANT!!!

Just had a call from my ex wife, "she informs me that my daughters are scared to tell me, but they lent their masks (all frigg*ing 3 of them) to school for a play or something, now the school can't find them! The school is going to get a bill for the best part of £100 and in the sodding mean time we are off on Holiday on Saturday supposed to be diving and now first thing we have to do is p*ss about finding masks to fit them. I'm not happy with my girls but I'm furious that the school can be so f**king cavalier with other people's property, is it any wonder that half the kids turn out thinking nothing of scribbling graffiti everywhere when the school sets a similar lack of respect example....

No I'm not going to calm down, now I'm going to email the head master.

I have just been called by my ex wife to tell me that your school has managed to lose some of our property.

It appears that one of my Daughters (Louise or Rachel) lent your school 3 of our diving masks. Despite repeated requests there was no response until their mother finally wrote a letter. The result is an apology that they can no longer be found, that we should replace them and that we will be reimbursed. I'm not sure that the writer would be aware that proper equipment like that represents a cost of at least £100 probably more. Good quality masks are typically more than £40 each. The cost is relatively minor, yes I can replace them and I will submit an invoice, but this doesn't address two other issues which have made me more angry, the first is entirely selfish, Due to your school's carelessness I now have to devote a significant amount of time during our holiday to shopping instead of doing the diving I have booked and paid for. Secondly, the lack of care for equipment entrusted to your safe keeping demonstrates a lack of respect that makes me wonder how you expect your pupils to take any kind of lead from you. I hope that when children spray graffiti or damage school property you don't take the hypocitical line and lecture them on respect for other people's property.

I lent the school I was at at the time a photographic enlarger - man what a fight it was to get that back - some years after leaving. I was trying to get moved from one class to another to avoid a PITA teacher so tried the favours done route. Didnt work.
The school did realise he was a PITA though, and he soon left.

Schools - they're a training ground for social terrorism from the top to the bottom.
