It s amazing there are any English workmen left......try not to judge the entire workforce on a few episodes of Builders From Hell or some such nonsense.


Most of the sites I work on are making the effort to turn around the popular misconception of builders and in the majority of cases the staff are exemplary in attitude and worker skills.
Most builders with a trade have pride in their work and for sure they know that if the end result is crap then they won t be entertained by the same client again,bad news travels fast.


As for our East European friends, they too have good and bad amongst them, some of the shoddy work I ve seen from them defies belief and no amount of hours on site will make up for that. This isn t a pop at them by the way,I ve made friends of lots of Polish people and find they have a wicked sense of humour(foods shite though )

I was going to keep out of this until I saw this. I have never seen such a pair of sentences of retarded, generalising bullshit.

First, does the word "some" not deserve a mention? How do you know all the young Asian men are this angry? A few of them are my friends and I assure you that they don't feel that way. They despair of "radicals" that feel this way. Sweeping statements like yours display nothng but breathtaking ignorance and racism.

Secondly, its attitudes like yours that help to radicalise people, by making them susceptible to hardline Islam. Have you ever paused to ask yourself WHY normal young men can be radicalised?

I do wish people would pause for coherent thought before posting. A "some" in your question would have saved me the effort of posting.

Why don't you try something really radical? Try speaking to brown people. Some can even speak English and be good company.

I paused to do a very brief bit of research with a couple of young (compared to me) Asians; both the Sikh and the Hindu didn't take long to come to the conlusion that a caliphate wasn't for them. But then it's so hard to tell these foreigners apart -they all look so similar.

But one possible future path is that like so many of the British born workforce they will "wise up" to the British disease and either expect a kings randsome in return for a few hours of lounging about (i.e. the public sector) or they'll opt for the easier life on benefits. That'll leave the door open for more migrants to fill the supposed vacancies.

AS for the scum sucking chav thingies, yes they are dreadfull but it isn't their fault. They are the result of social engineering that went dreadfully wrong. The troble is the perpitrators can't accept the results and the experiment continues to this day.

Oh 'wise up'. Our benefit system is not the free-for-all hand out that people say it is. Living on benefit alone is not a good standard of living. It is not an easy life.

As for your suggestion that the public sector simply lounge around, what lobbox. I work in the public sector. My current job is the most challenging one I have ever had. I see all around me dedicated people working long hours to deliver more for less each year. Sure we have dead wood - but with increasingly poor central government settlements we won't have dead wood for much longer.

Maybe we will have to agree to differ on that. My wife works in a benefits related job (yes, in the public sector) and could perhaps persuade you otherwise.
We all know where and how benefits are being misapropriated. The bonafide claimants would feel less stigmatised if the whole lot was cleaned up.

It was a poor generalisation. But again, we all know where and how non-jobs are created without reference to common sense.
I do not doubt your own work ethic nor do I wish to be rude but I know of many people who work very hard in jobs that don't need doing. I also know many people who don't do the job they are paid to do, at least not for the 8 hours a day they are paid for.
